Guaranteed RAM
What is the actual main difference between the Internet hosting industry-related terms ?regular RAM? and ?guaranteed RAM??
RAM is an abbreviation for Random Access Memory. This is a type of computer memory, that, different from other storage devices including harddrives or DVDs, permits the information to be accessed directly without reading the previous content stored within it. Whenever a program is launched, it's stored within the RAM, because it can be accessed considerably quicker than if it was read from another media. In terms of the hosting service itself, more RAM means that more web applications can operate all at once on a given server, particularly if they are resource-demanding and are accessed by a significant number of people at the same time. Different from a shared web hosting solution in which the resources of a particular account can be flexible and quite often depend on what other end users consume also, a VPS offers a guaranteed amount of RAM which can be used all the time. That memory is allocated to one hosting server only and will not be used by other customers even in case it's not used.

Guaranteed RAM in VPS Hosting
The physical memory which you will get with each and every
virtual private server we offer you is guaranteed and shall be available consistently even if you do not use it for a long period of time. Each VPS account provides set system resources and runs in an isolated container apart from all of the other accounts on the physical server, so even if some account starts running out of memory, we won't allocate some of your memory to that account. Furthermore never distribute the entire physical memory on the hardware node among the virtual accounts set up on it, to make sure that it won't ever run out of memory. This way, there'll always be free RAM if you wish to upgrade your package and we ensure the flawless functioning of the physical hosting server.

Guaranteed RAM in Dedicated Web Hosting
If you buy one of our
dedicated server plans, you shall get a top-notch machine with sufficient RAM to run even several resource-demanding web applications without any effect on the overall efficiency of any one of them. Because we test each and every hardware component before we use it when we assemble a web server, we will make sure that the RAM sticks aren't malfunctioning and that the server performs flawlessly. The physical memory which you will get will be available all of the time, so even in times in which you use merely a part of it for a period of time, we will never change the configuration. You shall be able to examine the hardware, including the amount of RAM you have, inside the billing Control Panel.
